Newsweek is the latest outlet to publish AI-assisted stories. The newsroom is already using AI for video production, first drafts, and a new breaking news team.
https://buff.ly/4cYD2TD Considering how often the news media gets the facts wrong or omits important details, I am not sure using AI would make much of a difference. They are already unreliable when it comes to accuracy. So using a tool that produces unvetted inaccurate results seems to be in line with what they are already doing.
